Privacy Policy

1. Controller

Kevindustries OÜ, Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia.
Email: office@kevinsoell.com

This email address is also the contact point for data protection matters.

2. Server log files

When this website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary access data (e.g. IP address, time, requested resource, browser type) in order to ensure secure and functional delivery (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Hosting is provided by Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany). This data is deleted after a short period.

3. Cookies & consent

For its core functionality, this website does not set any tracking or marketing cookies and does not, by default, integrate any third-party services requiring consent (Privacy by Default).

Embedded content requiring consent (the Trustpilot review widget and the embedded beehiiv newsletter form on individual pages) is only loaded technically after your explicit consent via the cookie banner. Before that, no connection to these third-party providers takes place.

Your decision is stored exclusively locally in your browser (localStorage entry ks-consent-v1) so that the banner does not reappear on every visit. No personal data is transmitted to us in the process. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

4. Newsletter

On the home page you can subscribe to the newsletter via a form that we provide ourselves. Your email address is transmitted to our own server and passed on from there to our newsletter service provider beehiiv (Beehiiv Inc., USA), which handles the dispatch on our behalf (processing on our behalf). On other pages, a beehiiv subscription form may additionally be displayed as embedded content; this is only loaded after your consent via the cookie banner.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time. We process your email address as well as technical data of the subscription (e.g. time) to document consent. For the delivery and analysis of the newsletter, beehiiv may record open and click rates in order to improve dispatch and content.

Transfer to third countries: beehiiv processes data (also) in the USA. The basis for the transfer is the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the EU Commission) and/or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Unsubscribing: You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter email. The privacy notices of beehiiv apply in addition.

5. Contact by email

If you contact us by email (office@kevinsoell.com), we process your details to handle the request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once processing has been completed, unless statutory retention obligations preclude this.

6. YouTube videos (embedded in a privacy-friendly way)

Videos are initially displayed only as a preview image. The preview images are delivered via our own server; no direct retrieval from Google/YouTube servers takes place in the process. A YouTube player is only loaded once you actively click on a video. Only then is data transmitted to YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.), and the enhanced privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com) is used.

7. Affiliate / redirect links

Some links are affiliate links or our own redirect links. When clicked, an anonymised, privacy-friendly click count may take place (without permanent storage of the IP address). You are then redirected to the respective provider, whose privacy policy then applies.

8. Trustpilot reviews

On individual pages, review widgets from Trustpilot (Trustpilot A/S, Denmark) may be integrated. The Trustpilot script is only loaded after your consent via the cookie banner; in the process, technical connection data (e.g. IP address) may be transmitted to Trustpilot. Before consent, no connection to Trustpilot takes place. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); the privacy policy of Trustpilot applies.

9. Fonts

Fonts are delivered exclusively locally from this server (self-hosted). No external font services (e.g. Google Fonts) are integrated; as a result, no transmission of your IP address to third parties for loading fonts takes place when the page is accessed.

10. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, as well as the right to object and the right to withdraw a consent that has been given.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Estonian data protection authority (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, Tatari 39, 10134 Tallinn, Estonia). Users in Germany can also contact their locally competent supervisory authority.
